This 19th century oil portrait of “Old Woman with Distaff” depicts a peasant woman with broom in hand.
This painting is old and fragile with some paint flaking present and a few small holes in the canvas, but does not deter from the beauty of this painting. Was originally purchased several years ago from an antique dealer.
Materials: Unsigned oil painting on canvas. The name Pedro Campana is signed in pencil on the back of the wood frame.
