French Antique Blue Handpainted and Fluted Opaline Casket with Ormolu Mounts

A French antique blue opaline glass fluted casket featuring beautiful handpainted florals and ormolu mounts. This casket is likely from the 19th century. These types of boxes were often used for storing jewelry or sugar, and are prized for their hand-painted details. The casket is in good antique condition. There are a couple of minor flea bites on a couple of the corners (see photos).
