This is a Herend Porcelain Guinea Fowl Bird Figurine with the signature green fishnet pattern.
Origin: Hand-painted in Hungary by the Herend Porcelain Manufactory.
Design: Features the distinctive fishnet pattern, which originated in 1858 when a Herend painter imitated a fish scale design from a Chinese porcelain plate onto a rooster figurine.
Material: Crafted from premium hard-paste porcelain, typically using a mixture of kaolin, feldspar, and quartz, and often accented with 24k gold. Appx. measurements: 6” x 8” tall
In excellent used condition with no chips or cracks present.
